Abstracts Submission

Call for Abstracts

The Organizing Committee invites authors to submit Abstracts for consideration for presentation and inclusion in the program.

Submission

Abstracts can be submitted by:

a) e-mail
b) On-Line Abstract Submission Form

a) Preparation for sending by email

File name: Author Last Name_First three words of the Title.doc
Deadline: not later than December 1st, 2009.

Style

Spacing: Abstracts must be typed at 10 points, single-spaced in English and should contain not more than 400 characters including the title, authors, institutions and the body of the abstract.

Layout

Title

In capital letter, not underlined or bold. Do not identify yourself in the title.

Author(s)

Not in capital letters. Write the initials of first names first, and then the family names. Only the presenting author must be underlined. The underlined name must be the same as indicated in the address for correspondence.

Affiliation

Not in capital letters. When more than one institution are mentioned, please identify them with superscript numerals and not with symbols (e.g. J. Smith1, P. Thompson2, 1University of Leeds, 2University of Berlin etc.).

E-mail

Not in capital letters. When more than one email are mentioned, please identify them with superscript (e.g. P. Thomson1,a, G. Jankovski2,b; 1University of Leeds, 2University of Berlin etc.; thompson@leeds.orga, jankovski@berlin.orgb).

Text

Tables are only accepted without gridlines. Use only well known abbreviations or explain abbreviations the first time they appear. The text should not exceed 400 words!

Conditions

The material in the Abstract must be original and must not have been published or presented previously at an international meeting.

Acceptance

Authors will receive a notification of acceptance or rejection for presentation, till December 1, 2009.

Abstract Information

You may enter your abstract text into the field using the "copy" and "paste" features from a word processing program, or you may type your abstract directly into the field. Abbreviations should be defined when initially introduced in the abstract text. No tables, graphics, or charts will be accepted with submissions. Please proofread all your text before submitting it to avoid having your errors published in the meeting booklet. Once submitted, your text will not be edited or corrected. To complete submission of your abstract, click the "Submit" button located at the bottom of the form. The deadline for abstract submission is March 1, 2010.
